Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 June 2026
These terms govern your use of the CAW Academy app (“the app”). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What the app is
CAW Academy is a study aid for EASA continuing-airworthiness and related regulations. It helps you learn and self-test. It is not an official EASA publication, not legal or regulatory advice, and not a substitute for the official Easy Access Rules or your organisation’s approved procedures. We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is error-free or up to date with the latest amendments. You are responsible for verifying information against the official regulations.
“EASA” and the “Easy Access Rules” are the property of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency. CAW Academy is independent and is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by EASA.
2. Pricing and billing
The courses currently available in the app are free to use, with no in-app purchases. We may introduce paid courses in future. If we do, they will be sold through the Apple App Store — as auto-renewable subscriptions and/or one-time purchases. Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends; subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and can be managed or cancelled anytime in your Apple Account settings. Any payment is charged to your Apple Account, and Apple’s terms and refund policy apply; we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.
3. Licence and acceptable use
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own study. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or reverse-engineer the content or the app, and you may not share account access or unlocked content with others. All content and trademarks remain the property of their owners.
4. Local data
Your progress is stored on your device. We do not require an account. See our Privacy Policy for details on what limited information leaves your device.
5. Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the content, including exam outcomes or professional decisions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
6. Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
7. Operator and contact
CAW Academy is an independent study app operated from the Netherlands. For any question about these terms or the app, email support@caw-academy.com or use the in-app feedback form.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you use the app as a consumer, you also keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country in which you live, and nothing in these terms removes those rights.
